How many tanks can be monitored?

Up to four tanks per unit, and more units can be added; they all appear on the same platform.

What is TDS and why monitor it?

TDS is the total of salts and solids dissolved in the water, in ppm; a rise means the water quality is getting worse. Watching it continuously shows the problem at once instead of waiting for a spot check.

Does it protect the pump from running dry?

Yes. The pump runs automatically between two limits you set and stops before the water drops to a level that would harm it, and you get an alarm on anything abnormal.

Can the pump be switched by hand from the phone?

Yes, there is a manual mode and an automatic mode, and user rights decide who is allowed to control it.
